Professor Margaret (Maggie) Whitehead is a writer and educator whose work spans nonfiction, journalism, and narrative storytelling. Her essays and reportage have appeared in publications such as The Missouri Review, The Atavist Magazine, and North American Review, earning recognition from The Best American Essays and a nomination by her editor at The Atavist for a National Magazine Award. She teaches creative writing and literature, most recently at Smith College’s Precollege Creative Writing Workshop, and is represented by Sterling Lord Literistic in New York.
