Before You Apply

Application Review Process

At AFSO, we are committed to expanding access to education for Afghan women while maintaining a fair and structured admissions process.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis, and admission is subject to limited capacity each term. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, not all applications can be reviewed immediately.

If you do not hear from us after submitting your application, please know that your application remains on file. We continue to review applications in the order they are received as space becomes available in future terms.

Because of this process, there is no guaranteed timeline for when an application will be reviewed or when a response will be provided.

We strongly encourage applicants to ensure that all submitted information especially their email address remains accurate and up to date, as this is the primary way we will contact you when your application reaches the review stage.

We appreciate your patience and your commitment to learning with AFSO.
