Professor Patricia Bernadette O’Hara is the Amanda and Lisa Cross Professor of Chemistry, emerita, at Amherst College, where she taught and mentored students for over four decades. An accomplished biophysical chemist and award-winning educator, she has published widely on protein dynamics, molecular gastronomy, and the chemistry of olive oil. She continues to share her expertise internationally through teaching, research collaborations, and public engagement in science and education.
