Shakhesi, Shiva

Professor Shiva Shakhesi is an education and refugee advocacy professional with extensive international experience supporting displaced and vulnerable communities. She has led inclusion and learning support programs across schools in Kosovo, Fiji, India, and Australia, with a focus on refugee integration, trauma-informed practices, and equitable access to education. Fluent in Farsi, English, and Dari, Shiva is pursuing an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with research centered on the educational experiences of Afghan refugee students.
