Sturgeon, Scott

Professor Scott Sturgeon is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham and President of the Aristotelian Society (2023–24). He has held distinguished visiting positions at Brown, Michigan, and Harvard, and previously taught at Oxford, Birkbeck, and King’s College London. His research spans epistemology, metaphysics, and philosophy of mind, with influential books and articles on rationality, consciousness, and belief.
