McCann, Sean

Sean McCann is the William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of the Humanities at Wesleyan University, where he has taught courses in English and American literature for three decades. He is the author of Gumshoe America: Hardboiled Crime Fiction and The Rise and Fall of New Deal Liberalism (Duke University Press, 2000); A Pinnacle of Feeling: American Literature and Presidential Government (Princeton University Press, 2008); and multiple articles and essays.
