Hirt, Katherine

Katherine Hirt earned her PhD at the University of Washington, Seattle. She has taught German at the University of Washington, University of Cincinnati, and Pacific Lutheran University. Her monograph, “When Machines Play Chopin: Musical Spirit and Automation in Nineteenth-Century German Literature,” was published in Interdisciplinary German Cultural Studies, Berlin.
