Professor David Gantt Gurley is Associate Professor of Scandinavian Studies at the University of Oregon and Faculty-in-Residence at the Clark Honors College. His research explores intersections of Scandinavian and Jewish literature, with publications on Meïr Aaron Goldschmidt, the Golem tradition, and modern Danish poetry. He is the author of Meïr Aaron Goldschmidt and the Poetics of Jewish Fiction (Syracuse University Press, 2016).
