This includes: Observing cells through microscopy Defining “what is alive” Comparing the structure and function of prokaryotes and eukaryotes Comparing infectious organisms - viruses, bacteria and eukaryotic pathogens Depending upon time, we may also discuss: Mitosis - cell division Structure and function of chromosomes, genes and DNA
